![]() ![]() Just the plugin alone will give you more cab and mic combos than you could ever use, and it’s easier to get results than the usual loading of numerous files with odd file names :) I have a couple of his cab packs and his most excellent Mikko Plugin for creating custom IRs. ML Sound Lab: Mikko has been killing it in the last several years.Sounds huge with a Marshall clone that I picked up recently. I’ve been digging the Marshall Basketweave cab from that line. I have loads of their older IRs, but their newest Evolution line is really good. Ownhammer: These guys have been in the game for ages.My favorite IR vendors at the moment are: I thought the factory IRs were pretty solid in the Boss, but I prefer to use IRs from my own collection that I’ve gathered over the years for the Axe FX and other modelers. Basically the same process as loading any other third party IR. ![]() Once you have your mixed IR from your software of choice, you would simply upload that into the Boss via their IR utility. A license was $20 US or something like that a few years back when I bought it. wav format (torpedo proprietary format only) however, I use MixIR2 from Redwirez for the same functionality. I don’t believe Two Notes Blend IR exports to standard. ![]() Fryette Powerstation (I almost grabbed one to use as a tube power amp with an Ax Fx. Onboard effects plus midi control make it useable in a live setting. Headphone out sounds excellent with a touch of stereo reverb (stereo verb is the key to making headphone playing worthwhile). Use the onboard SS amp to get low volumes out of a cranked amp (similar to Power Station). You can tune the load to get the feel you like.
